TRAPPER VOLLEYBALL HITS THE ROAD

Northwest Volleyball hits the road today to start a 5 match road trip over the next 3 weekends.  The Trappers will head to Riverton, WY to take on the Rustlers of Central Wyoming tonight at 6pm.  The match will be streamed live and on demand at https://www.youtube.com/c/CWCRustlers/videos.

NWC enters the match with a 10-7 overall record and an 0-2 record in Region IX conference matchups.  This will be the second meeting between Central Wyoming and Northwest College this season.  The first meeting was a 4 set loss for the Trappers back on February 5th in Riverton as part of a double header in which NWC beat Colorado Northwestern in the other side of the double header.

The Trappers will look to improve upon their previous performance according to Coach Keister.  "We were still working on some lineup issues and working through some skill development.  We aren't exactly where we want to be, but we are better than we were a few weeks ago for sure."  The Trappers have been dealing with a few injuries over the last couple of weeks, but a deep bench is helping soften that blow. "I have full confidence in whoever comes off the bench.  They all work extremely hard in practice and train everyday to be ready for their opportunity, whenever that may be."

The matchup Friday will be the lone match this week before heading to Western Wyoming and Casper the following weekend.
