Bio

A former NWC Rodeo Team member himself, Del went on to rodeo for Montana State University. He is a five-time qualifier for the Montana Circuit Finals in Bareback Riding and Steer Wrestling and claimed the 1976 Montana Circuit Steer Wrestling Championship. Del is a Gold Card holder in the PRCA and also serves as a Wrangler Pro-Reserve Official. In 2010 and 2014 Del was named Rodeo Coach of the Year for the Big Sky Region.In 2014 he was second runner-up for National Coach of the Year. He is the regional faculty advisor for the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and sits on its Board of Directors. His knowledge of rodeo and continued involvement in the professional level of the sport are a great asset to the NWC Rodeo Program.
